Home to the longest pier in the world.
A short one hour drive from our London home.
Great on street parking near pier for about 1.00/hr.
To walk the pier and ride train back cost 3.00 (or you can ride train both ways for 3.50)
We preferred to walk the 1.3 miles.
I wish we would've ate lunch at the cafe at the end of the pier. They had sandwiches and salads all for around 2.50 (much less than what we paid at a cafe on the shore).
Directly opposite the entrance to the pier you can enter the town. It was a great street with lots of shops, a couple McDonald's, several banks with ATM (including HSBC at the end of the street). We were there on a Saturday and there was a street market going on selling speciality items, yummy treats, produce, etc.
Adventure Island is right next to pier. For small children it is 10.00 for a 13 ride pass. One parent rides free with child on the rides. Individual rides cost 1.60.
There is a great play area right off the street (on the opposite side of the pier from Adventure Island). Bring sand toys next time and clothes that can get wet. The play area alone would entertain Antalya for several hours (lots of sand, water, and a playground).
This is an excursion I hope to do again!
